This statue represents Horus in human form as a Falcon bearing gold colour Solar disk wrapped with a black cobra serpent. The base has ancient hieroglyphics in gold colour on all four corner edges.
Horus is holding an Ankh by his right side and a staff on his left.

It was said in ancient Egypt that the Sun was his right eye and the Moon his left eye.

The falcon god Horus was regarded as the embodiment of divine kingship, and as early as the late fourth millennium BC, the pharaoh had a 'Horus name'. In Osirian mythology, Horas was in a long and arduous struggle with the evil god Seth to claim his rightful place as King of Egypt and avenge the murder of his father, Osiris. As a deity of the sky, Horus was associated with the sun and the moon, and seen as a god of the east and thus the sunshine. At his temple at Edfu in Upper Egypt, he was worshipped as part of a triad with his consort Hathor and their child Harsomtus.
